DIAR (Data Interpretation Analysis & Response) is a comprehensive, professional-grade educational and productivity platform. DIAR provides a suite of powerful features including exam creation and management, AI-powered academic assistance, a collaborative student community, personal chatbot building, file-to-presentation conversion, and much more. We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal information.
This Privacy Policy and Terms of Service document governs your use of all DIAR services. By accessing or using DIAR, you agree to the practices described herein.
2. DIAR Core Platform Features
DIAR is built around seven powerful, integrated features designed to serve students, teachers, developers, and professionals alike. The data practices described in this policy apply across all features below.
01 DIAR EXAM – Complete Examination Management System
DIAR EXAM is our flagship feature for creating, managing, and evaluating examinations with zero tolerance for malpractice. This feature empowers teachers and institutions with:
AI-Powered Exam Creation: Our AI generates questions across all formats — Multiple Choice, True/False, Matching Items, Short Answers, and Essays. After AI generation, the teacher retains full editing control before the exam reaches any student, ensuring quality and curriculum alignment.
Marking Guide Generation: An automatic marking guide is produced to assist with consistent and fair evaluation.
Secure Exam Link Generation: Teachers generate a unique, secure exam link that is distributed to students. The link is the gateway to a controlled examination environment.
Exam Supervision & Anti-Cheat: The system actively supervises the exam session, managing time limits and implementing measures to deter dishonesty.
AI Auto-Grading with Teacher Override: Once a student submits their exam, DIAR AI instantly grades it and produces results. Crucially, the teacher has the power to review, edit, and confirm the AI's grading before final results are released, ensuring the human expert remains the final authority.
Detailed Results & Class Analytics: Teachers gain deep insight into their class's performance and each individual student's results, enabling targeted intervention.
02 AI Assistant – Your Intelligent Home Screen Companion
Available directly on the Home Screen, the DIAR AI Assistant is a general-purpose, beautifully designed intelligent agent. Similar to leading AI assistants, it responds accurately to a wide range of queries, provides explanations, assists with research, and helps users navigate the DIAR ecosystem. It serves as the first point of interaction, making DIAR instantly helpful the moment you open the app.
03 My Pastpaper – Personal Exam History & Performance Analytics
My Pastpaper is your personal digital academic record. It goes far beyond simply listing past exams. This feature provides:
Complete Exam History: A comprehensive list of every exam you have ever taken through the DIAR system, with full results displayed for each.
Statistical Trend Analysis: The system calculates your overall average and maps out your performance trend over time, showing clearly whether your scores are improving, declining, or plateauing. This data-driven insight helps students self-assess and adjust their study strategies.
04 My Bots – Personal & Developer Chatbot Builder
Accessible from the bottom navigation bar on the Home Screen, My Bots is a revolutionary no-code/low-code chatbot builder that democratizes AI creation:
For Regular Users (No-Code): Anyone can build a functional, personal chatbot without writing a single line of code. Upon completion, the user receives a shareable link to deploy their bot immediately.
For Developers: Developers receive JavaScript code upon building their chatbot, allowing seamless, unrestricted integration into external websites, applications, or systems.
05 Community (Feed) – A Safe, Collaborative Student Network
The Community Feed unites students from all institutions on a single, moderated platform for academic discourse and resource sharing:
Content Sharing: Users can post text content, educational videos, images, and files to share notes, ideas, and information with peers.
PIN-Protected File Locking: When sharing a file, a user has the right to lock it with a PIN. Anyone wishing to open the file must first obtain the PIN from the owner by contacting them through DIAR's internal messaging system. This ensures complete control over file access.
Integrated Communication: The platform includes a full communication suite — direct messaging, voice calls, and video calls — all within the DIAR ecosystem.
Secure & Private Profiles: User profiles are beautifully designed, protecting personal data and information while maintaining a professional appearance.
Strict Content Moderation: To maintain a safe and professional academic environment, the following content is strictly prohibited:
Government/political party content and similar divisive matters.
Non-academic movies, dramas, and entertainment content.
Nudity, explicit images, and pornographic videos — zero tolerance.
Our Partners is an open invitation feature designed to foster strategic collaboration. It welcomes colleges, institutions, and organizations from any sector to become sponsors or partners of the DIAR platform. Approved partners are showcased within this dedicated section, gaining visibility and connection opportunities within the vibrant DIAR community of learners and educators.
07 Convert to PowerPoint – Instant File-to-Presentation Transformation
A powerful productivity tool, Convert to PowerPoint allows users to transform their files (such as PDFs, Word documents, or notes) into polished PowerPoint-style presentations instantly. This feature is an immense time-saver for lecturers preparing teaching slides, professionals creating office representations, and anyone needing to convert information into presentation format rapidly.
3. Information We Collect
To power the above features and provide a seamless experience, we collect only what is necessary:
Your email address (when you log in or register)
Your name and institutional affiliation (if you choose to provide them)
Profile picture (optional)
Chat history with the AI Assistant and Mr. Diarings (to provide accurate, contextual responses)

To grade exams, generate results, and produce your personal analytics on My Pastpaper
To enable secure file sharing with PIN protection on the Community Feed
To facilitate your chatbot creation and deployment via My Bots
To process file-to-presentation conversions
To manage free-tier and paid-tier feature limits
To improve DIAR services (anonymized and aggregated chat or usage data may be used for AI model training and platform improvement)
To communicate important updates, security alerts, and partner opportunities
5. Mr. Diarings – Teacher-Specific AI Model
Mr. Diarings is a unique, specialized AI model within DIAR EXAM. When a teacher uploads their notes to the system, DIAR processes them and creates a dedicated "Mr. Diarings" instance that has read and thoroughly understood those specific notes. This model then:
Assists the teacher in improving and refining exam questions based on the material taught.
Provides students with answers strictly grounded in the teacher's own notes, ensuring that students receive explanations consistent with their curriculum and their instructor's methodology, even when the teacher is unavailable.
Data used to train Mr. Diarings instances is siloed per teacher/class and is not shared across different institutions or users.
6. File Storage, Sharing & Deletion
Your uploaded files — whether they are study materials, exam scripts, shared community files, or chatbot training data — are stored indefinitely until you choose to delete them yourself. This allows you to build a persistent library of your academic work, past papers, and resources.
You have full control:
Delete any file instantly from the relevant section (File History, My Pastpaper, Community Feed, or My Bots) with a single action.
PIN-locked files remain inaccessible to anyone without the PIN, ensuring privacy even while stored.
Once a file is deleted, it and all associated data (conversations, analysis, chatbot instances trained on it) are permanently removed from our active servers. Residual backup copies may persist for up to 30 days before being fully purged.
7. Your Rights
You have full rights over your data on DIAR:
Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you, including exam history, chat logs, and uploaded files.
Delete Account: Delete your entire DIAR account and all associated data at any time, permanently.
Opt-Out of AI Training: Request that your personal chats and data are excluded from any AI model training datasets.
Delete Individual Files: Delete any file or piece of content instantly from within the app.
Data Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
8. Community Feed Guidelines & Prohibited Content
To keep DIAR a safe, professional, and academically focused environment, all users must adhere to the following rules. The following content is strictly prohibited on the Community Feed and any part of DIAR:
Political & Government Content: No posts, comments, or media related to partisan politics, government affairs intended to incite, campaign, or destabilize. DIAR is not a political platform.
Non-Academic Entertainment: No movies, drama series, or entertainment content unrelated to academic pursuits. The feed is for learning, teaching, and intellectual growth.
Nudity & Explicit Material:Absolutely no nudity, sexually explicit images, pornographic videos, or any form of NSFW content. Violation of this rule results in immediate, permanent account termination without warning.
Harassment, hate speech, bullying, or any form of abusive behavior.
Spam, scams, or unauthorized advertisements.
We employ automated and human moderation. Users can report violations through the app interface.
9. Data Security
DIAR employs robust, industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information and all data within the platform:
All data is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud / Firebase) with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.3).
Access to personal data is strictly restricted and monitored; only authorized personnel may access data for support or maintenance.
PIN-protected files are encrypted with the user-defined PIN, making them inaccessible even to DIAR administrators without the PIN.
We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their marketing or commercial purposes.
We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
10. Children's Privacy
DIAR is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy and Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our features, practices, or legal obligations. We will notify you of any material changes through the DIAR app, via email, or through a prominent notice on our platform. Continued use of DIAR after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
